Dane, Chelsea and Peter are waiters for the rich and famous at a top London restaurant. Dane finished fourth in the inaugural series of Channel 4's Date My Celebrity Wife's Pet, and was ranked second in Channel 5's Wife Swamp, but has since fallen on hard times. Chelsea is a wannabe 'it' girl, desperately striving for fame and fortune, by any means necessary. Peter, on the other hand, is a struggling poet, writer and journalist, who despises the celebrity culture and all those who aspire to it.

5 Star Service is the county's favourite soap opera, and winner of about six BAFTAs (Brussex Academy Film and Television Awards).
